Terms and conditions of sale
Last updated: October 30, 2026
These terms govern the sale of the package holidays offered by GroupTrippers on the GroupTrippers website. Any booking implies their full acceptance.
Purpose and seller
Trips are organised and sold by GroupTrippers, [À compléter : forme juridique et capital social], with registered office at [À compléter : adresse du siège social], registered under SIRET number [À compléter : SIRET].
GroupTrippers is registered with Atout France’s register of travel and holiday operators under number [À compléter : IM0XXXXXXXXX]. It holds a financial guarantee from [À compléter : APST, 15 avenue Carnot, 75017 Paris] and professional liability insurance from [À compléter : assureur RC Pro et numéro de contrat].
The trips offered are package travel within the meaning of articles L.211-1 et seq. of the French Tourism Code. The standard information form required by law is provided before any booking.
Booking
Bookings are made online. A booking becomes final once the deposit or the full amount has been received and these terms have been accepted. A confirmation is sent by email with a link to your trip area.
The person booking guarantees the accuracy of the information provided for all travelers and undertakes to pass these terms on to them. A booking left unpaid for 24 hours is cancelled automatically.
No right of withdrawal
In accordance with article L.221-28 of the French Consumer Code, travel services provided on a specific date or at a specific frequency are not subject to the 14-day right of withdrawal. Any cancellation is therefore governed by the “Cancellation by the traveler” section.
Prices
Prices are shown in euros, all taxes included, per person. They include the services listed under “Included” for each trip. Services listed as not included remain the traveler’s responsibility.
The price is fixed at booking. In accordance with the French Tourism Code, it may only be revised in the event of changes in fuel-related transport costs, taxes or exchange rates, no later than 20 days before departure, under the conditions provided by law.
Payment
Two options are available: full payment at booking, or a deposit of €500 per person followed by instalments whose dates and amounts are shown in your summary and trip area.
The balance must be paid no later than 30 days before departure. Payments are secured by our provider Stripe. If an instalment remains unpaid after a reminder, GroupTrippers may treat the booking as cancelled by the traveler.
Referral and discounts
Group discounts apply automatically depending on the number of travelers on the same booking. A valid referral code entitles the referee to a €50 discount.
The referral discount cannot be combined with the group discount. The referrer earns a €100 credit once the referee’s booking is paid in full; this credit can be used on a future trip and is neither exchangeable nor refundable.
Cancellation by the traveler
Any cancellation must be notified by email to contact@grouptrippers.com. The date the email is received determines the cancellation fees, calculated on the total trip price according to the scale below.
- More than 90 days before departure: the deposit amount is retained
- 90 to 60 days before departure: 30% of the total price
- 59 to 30 days before departure: 50% of the total price
- 29 to 15 days before departure: 75% of the total price
- Less than 15 days before departure or no-show: 100% of the total price
Transfer of the contract
The traveler may transfer the contract to a person meeting the same conditions by informing GroupTrippers no later than 7 days before departure. Any costs arising from the transfer, including flight ticket changes, are borne by the transferor and the transferee.
Cancellation or change by the organiser
Each departure requires a minimum number of participants. If this minimum is not reached, GroupTrippers may cancel the trip no later than 21 days before departure; the traveler is then refunded in full, without further compensation.
In the event of unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances (health, security or weather conditions), the trip may be changed or cancelled. An alternative or a full refund of the amounts paid is then offered.
Travel formalities
Each traveler is responsible for holding valid travel documents. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months after the return date. The formalities shown on each trip page apply to French nationals; other nationalities must check with the relevant authorities.
When the trip includes a domestic flight, each traveler’s passport details must be submitted via the trip area no later than 60 days before departure. Otherwise, the seat on the flight cannot be guaranteed.
Insurance
Prices do not include cancellation or medical repatriation insurance. We strongly recommend that each traveler takes out insurance covering cancellation, medical expenses and repatriation for the entire trip.
Liability
GroupTrippers is responsible for the proper performance of the services included in the contract, in accordance with article L.211-16 of the French Tourism Code. It cannot be held liable in the event of fault by the traveler, the unforeseeable and unavoidable act of a third party, or unavoidable and extraordinary circumstances.
Group trips involve shared living and following the guide’s instructions. Behaviour that endangers the group may lead to the traveler’s exclusion, without refund.
Claims and mediation
Any lack of conformity observed during the trip must be reported to the guide without delay. Claims must be sent by email to contact@grouptrippers.com within 30 days of return.
If no satisfactory answer is received within 60 days, the traveler may refer the matter free of charge to the consumer mediator: [À compléter : Médiation Tourisme et Voyage (MTV), www.mtv.travel].
Applicable law
These terms are governed by French law. Failing an amicable settlement, any dispute falls under the jurisdiction of the competent courts under ordinary law.
